Programming Time Warner Remote Codes

How do you connect your devices into one remote? A universal remote control can make this possible through the use of codes. These number sets are made specifically for your remote and device type and brand that will establish a sure connection. By using these remote control codes, you won’t feel the need to use other remotes for your device since you can only use one.

If you have a Time Warner (now Spectrum) universal remote, we listed all the codes below so that you can start programming your devices. Here is how:

1. Before anything else, list down all the codes for the corresponding brand and type of your device you wish to program with your remote.

2. Also make sure that your remote control has working batteries so that it will fully function throughout the process without any interruption.  See to it that the device/s you wish to program are plugged in and turned on.

3. Using your remote control, press and hold the TV button together with the SELECT button. Wait for the red LED light on your remote to blink twice before you release the buttons. The red light blinking or flashing will be the indicator that your device is ready for programming.

4. You will then be asked to enter the code from the list that was provided. Ensure that the code is entered correctly to avoid encountering any errors during the procedure.

5. After providing the code, check if the red led light blinks twice again. If it didn’t you’ll have to choose another code from the list.

6. After getting a valid and working code, aim your remote control towards the television. Next, press and hold the power button and release once the device shuts off.

7. When your device turns off, it is an initial indication that the programming was successfully executed and that the code has been successfully stored. To further confirm if it’s working, turn back on your TV.

8. Once the TV is turned on, use some of the remote buttons and see if it responds to its commands. If some of the buttons don’t work,  you have to repeat all the steps and use another code.

Do note that these codes are designed and tailored to fit according to the brand and device type so you won’t have to worry about compatibility. Thus, the key here is to remain patient and re-try until you find the right set of code that works perfectly with the remote and your chosen device.
