Programming Charter Remote Codes for a Samsung TV

If you’re becoming tired of frequently misplacing or losing your Samsung TV remote control, why not get an alternative or backup unit? Instead of getting the same Samsung remote model, you should consider a universal remote control. Not only can it only command your TV but it can also be programmed to other devices and equipment.

If you have a Charter universal remote, here’s a guide on how to program its remote codes for a Samsung TV:

Programming Charter Remote Codes
On Your Samsung TV

To make the programming of a Charter universal remote to your Samsung TV possible, you need sets of codes to try throughout the process. This is the key component that will connect the two devices seamlessly. But in order to establish a perfect connection, you need to try a list of codes until you get the right one.

Our technical team listed all the compatible codes for your remote and device below this tutorial. To start, here’s how to do the programming:

1. First, make sure you have a copy of all the codes by your side before you start. List them down on a paper or grab a screenshot. This will be easier for you later to provide them when needed.

2. Turn your Samsung TV on. If you wish to connect it with multiple devices, you will need to conduct these steps individually or one device at a time. Start with your TV first. Next, check if your remote has functioning batteries so as not to cut the programming.

3. Hold the TV and SEL button on your Charter remote. Release the two buttons until you see the LED light blinks two times. This is a sign that the remote is preparing for the programming.

4. Now, it’s time to enter the codes using the number buttons on your remote. Enter the four-digit code that you gathered earlier.

5. Check if you’ve entered a correct code. After that, press the power button and wait until the TV completely turns off. If the TV shuts down, it means that you have integrated the remote to your TV and that the code fully worked.

6. Now, you need to confirm if it is 100% working on your TV. Restart your Samsung TV and click on multiple remote keys and closely check if the TV responds to the each specific command such as volume or channel.

7. If the TV does not respond to other commands, you unfortunately need to try another code and start from the beginning.

The process may seem tedious, but if you follow the steps correctly and carefully, there are less chances of errors. If a code didn’t work completely on your first attempt, simply try another one until you find a code that works seamlessly for your TV.
