Programming Remote Control Codes to an Apex TV

The process of programming your TV and remote control wouldn’t be complete without codes. These number sets, when encoded on your device and remote control, will create singular connection and command. You cannot simply use one code for another device since these codes are tailored-fit and one of a kind for every brand or type of device.

The challenging part of this process is the trial and error of codes. There are different codes, ranging from four to five digits, that can be compatible with your device. You will need to try to integrate different codes until you arrive at something that works seamlessly with your TV and remote. To elaborate more on the entire procedure, here’s our quick tutorial:

1. To avoid any interruptions throughout this task, list or take a screenshot of all the codes. For your convenience, we listed all the available codes for your Apex TV or device below this tutorial. Pore over the the list and collect the ones that you’ll be using. Doing so will save you more time later on.

2. To enable all the devices for programming, turn on the the TV or device you wish to sync with the remote. As for the remote, inspect its battery compartment to check if it has working batteries installed.

3. Aim your remote control to the TV or device to catch up signals and commands.

4. To facilitate “Learning Mode” on your device, press and hold the SETUP button until it flashes or blinks. This will be a sign that it is in Learning Mode.

5. Afterward, there will be a message that will ask for the code. Using the number keys on your remote control, enter a five to four digit code from the ones you listed at step 1.

If you have entered a correct code, the button light should automatically turn off. If not, you’ll need to select a different code.

6. Now, you need to aim your remote again towards your TV or device, then press and hold the power button. Release the power button once the device turns off.

7. When your television is switched off, it denotes that the programming worked. To further ensure that the remote has been fully integrated, turn your TV or device on and test the volume, channel, as well as other command buttons. Now, closely monitor if the device or TV follow such commands.

8. Once done, you can do the same process to other devices and use other corresponding codes.

Our audiovisual team would like to note that there’s no need to worry if you failed on your first attempt. As previously mentioned, you simply need to retry and utilize another code until the device or TV responds to the commands. That being said, you’ll have to allocate at least a few hours when programming multiple devices since you can’t be fully certain that it would be a success on your first attempt.
