Programming RCA Soundbar Without Codes

In this process, the remote will do the code search, and it will add the codes one by one after checking them to find the perfect one. It will do the work for you. Here is how you will program the remote for code search:

1. Turn on the device for which you are programming the universal remote.

2. Find the device from the list on the remote [1]. A flashlight will be turned on, indicating that the device is now ready, and you can program the remote directly.

3. Hold the remote in front of the device and press the channel up/down button.

4. Press the keys till the device switches off.

5. Hold the Power button, and the device will be turned on.

6. You can now check the remote is working correctly by changing the channels or using the volume buttons.

7. After ensuring the remote is working on the device, you can press the Device button to save the changes. The flashlight will blink two times, which indicates that the changes have been committed successfully.

Manual Method for Another Device

4. The remote will search the codes itself, and it will check them against the device automatically. To ensure the process has been done rightly, you can check the channel or volume buttons or try function keys. If they are working on the device, then you have added the correct code.

Using Comcast Remote for Code Search

After turning on the soundbar, you need to select the AUX key.

1. Now select the SETUP key and wait for the small light to blink.

2. After releasing the setup button, enter 9913.

3. You will see a small light blinking twice in the AUX button.

5. Choose the channel up key and wait until the soundbar turns off.

6. To save the code, you’ll press the Setup key.

7. A small light will again blink in the AUX button.
