Programming the Xfinity Remote Control TV Codes

A quick reminder before you start the procedure, it is completely normal when the code you will use on the first attempt won’t work. Since there are multiple codes provided, just use an alternative code from the list and repeat the process again. 

Here’s how to set up your remote control: 

  1. Turn on both your setup box and TV. Make sure that your remote control is fully working along with the batteries you installed. 
  2. Navigate through the remote control, press the setup button until the LED light located at the top part of your remote turns from red to green.

3. Using the number buttons on your remote, enter the four or five-digit code based on your device’s brand provided on the list below. 

4. If the code is correctly entered and is working, the LED light on your remote should flash or blink twice. Make sure that you’ll notice it so you can confirm that it worked. 

5. Now, press the power button on your remote control. 

6. If the TV turns off, it is an indicator that you have successfully programmed the remote control towards your device. 

7. Take note that if the TV does not turn off, you will have to repeat the process and select a different code.
