1. Before starting the process, get the codes you need first and write them down so you can just instantly provide them whenever it’s needed in the process. Make sure the follow the steps accordingly and take note of the important indicators throughout the whole procedure.
2. Turn on the device that you intend to program with your remote control. Aside from that, make sure that your remote has working batteries installed on them so you can execute the process seamlessly since the remote is the most important tool when doing this.
3. Select the Menu button on your U-Verse remote, select Help, and lastly, choose the option Remote Control Set Up.
4. On your screen, select the remote control that you are currently using from the options.
5. To manually set up the remote, select the manufacturer and the type of device you wish to program with your remote. There will be a series of instructions that will prompt on the screen, follow the steps as stated.
