Programming Emerson TV Codes For Comcast Remote

In order to program your Emerson TV with an Xfinity Comcast remote, you need to identify which codes are compatible with your TV. Codes are a unique set of numbers that are used for encoding to create centralized command across your entertainment devices and equipment.

In this guide, we will show all the steps on how you can program these codes as well as a list of all the compatible codes for your Emerson TV and Comcast remote.

1. Before you begin programming, write down all the necessary codes which you can find below. This is highly recommended so you can immediately provide the codes when needed.

2. Turn on the TV that you wish to program with your remote control. Make sure that you have already installed working batteries on your remote so you can conduct the process without interruptions.

3. On your Xfinity Comcast remote, press and hold the TV button to prepare the remote and TV for pairing.

4. Press and hold the SETUP button simultaneously until the TV key blinks twice. Once it flashed, release the button of your remote.

5. Provide the code using the number keys of your remote control. Once you enter a valid code, the TV key will blink twice again.

6. This time, the TV and remote are good to use together. To confirm if they are working, aim your remote towards your television. Press the POWER button and see if the TV turns off.

7. Once the television turns off, it’s an indicator that it has been successfully paired with the remote.

8. To further confirm if it is fully functioning, turn back the TV back on and test multiple remote keys. This will ensure that it is following specific commands such as volume, channel, and others.

If it does, you can do the same process and apply the same steps on other devices with other codes. However, if it doesn’t, repeat the process from the beginning and carefully apply all the steps mentioned to avoid errors.

You will also need to use an alternative code from the same list since not all codes will work with your remote and TV.
