Programming a Comcast Remote to a Philips TV

If you’re still looking for a solution, consider yourself lucky this day as we will give you the solution — codes! Codes are a unique set of numbers that are intended to be encoded into your entertainment devices or equipment to activate them and create a centralized command across them. In effect, you will now need one remote control only! Hassle-free right? These codes permit the role of programming in creating that centralized command. They are also designed according to the device type and brand of your entertainment equipment. This may sound easy but as you go along the process, it’s not without challenges.

Once you accomplish these, you will now soon be ready to experience entertainment like never before! Entertainment that’s truly entertaining, less hassle, more time to just relax and live by the moment. For a detailed step-by-step process, check out the tutorial.

1. Proceed with the list of codes found below first. Get the codes based on your remote type.

2. Turn on your device and check your remote. Make sure that you have installed fully charged batteries before starting to avoid any interruptions.

3. Press the TV button on your remote.

4. Press and hold the SETUP button simultaneously. Release once the TV button blinks twice.

5. Provide the code. If the code you entered is valid the TV button should blink twice again.

6. This time, it should be good to go. Press the power button to off your device.

7. Once it is turned off, it’s an indicator that the code worked.

8. Turn it back on and use a few buttons to check if it actually follows the commands.

9. If you notice that some buttons don’t work, repeat the steps but use a new code from the list.

You may encounter issues like repeating steps especially if you keep on improperly encoding the codes or you lose focus and patience on the task which is why it would be wise to work slowly but surely.
