Programming Brightstar Remote Codes

Everybody deserves entertainment content once in a while to unwind and relax after a long day. But most of the time, we are plagued with having to deal with remote control clutter and the confusion on which one to use for a specific device. If you don’t want to experience such hassle, you can always program one remote that can command all of your gadgets.

This can be done in just a few steps, and if you have a Brightstar universal remote by your side, this guide will show you how.

Programming Brightstar Remote Codes

Codes do all the necessary programming that create a universal command across all entertainment equipment and devices. This will allow you to avoid the confusion on which remote to use for your devices. These codes are also specifically designed for the brand and device type that you currently have at home, so you don’t need to worry about compatibility issues.

Check out the step-by-step guide on how you can program the codes for your Brightstar remote:

1. Turn on the entertainment device that you wish to program with your remote control. Make sure that you have already installed working batteries on your remote so you can conduct the process continuously since the remote is the most important tool when programming and it should not be interrupted.

2. Write down all the codes for the corresponding brand of your devices. This will help you avoid navigating through the list in the middle of the process. By doing so will help you lessen the time you will need to allocate for the process.

3. First, you need to aim your remote towards your device.

4. Press and hold the SETUP button until you’ll notice a tiny LED light turns on. This indicates that it reached the “Learning Mode”.

5. Prepare the codes that you have gathered from the list. Now, you will need to enter the code using the number buttons on your remote control. Make sure that the four-digit code you will provide is from the corresponding brand of your device.

6. If you have entered an incorrect code, the tiny LED light will blink multiple times. In that case, you’ll have to pick another code from the list for it to work out.

7. Once you have completed all the steps, point the remote control towards your television. Right after, press and hold the power button.

8. If the device is turned off, it is an initial indication that the programming probably worked. To further verify, turn your TV on and try to use any buttons on your remote and confirm if it follows

Along the way, you may encounter repetition of steps because some codes may not work for your device. It’s completely normal to experience this error, so try another code until it works perfectly with your device.
